The world meets footwear at theMICAM.
From September 3-6, 2016, theMICAM, a reference point for footwear buyers and companies will return, offering an opportunity to present the latest trends in the footwear sector.
theMICAM, an event promoted by Assocalzaturifici Italiani, is the leading international fair leader for the footwear industry held in Milan twice a year, one at the end of winter, and one at the beginning of autumn, with a view to showcasing and previewing the new collections.
The traditional venue for the event is Rho Fiera that, with its surface area of 64,000 square metres, is capable of welcoming 1,500 companies for each edition and welcoming 60,000 visitors a year.
The event is reserved for manufacturers, agents, distributors, and representatives of footwear, bags, and leather goods, total looks in leather and accessories for shoe stores that at theMICAM are afforded the opportunity to become exhibitors in order to introduce their businesses and products to buyers and public alike.
The 81st edition, which took place in February 2016, attracted 1,456 exhibitors, of which 635 came from abroad, and 32,703 visitors, marking a 1.8% increase over the previous year’s edition, and +6% over that of September 2015.
