Milan is going to abandon fashion for a few days and set its eyes on design.
From April 12 to 17, the capital of Lombardy will see the return of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile and its inevitable alter ego, Fuorisalone.
For a week, the catwalks which are usually adorned with fabulous attire will give way to furniture and decorative design.
Style is still in the limelight, but the actors have been replaced.
As the leading furniture and design fair in the world and the undisputed benchmark for news and trends in the sector, the Salone Internazionale del Mobile will unfold all the secrets of the most innovative lifestyle philosophies.
Outside the Rho Fair, Fuorisalone will liven up the city.
Fuorisalone is not a fair, but a ‘movement’ with no central organization or institutional management which was born spontaneously in the early eighties. Every year it takes over Milan with its many events.
