The 26th edition of this prestigious food event dedicated to food and wine will be held from 10 to 14 November.

A uniquely elegant and exclusive event takes place against this picturesque backdrop in the heart of Alto Adige, where the mountain air is fresh with autumnal fragrances

From 10 to 14 November, Merano will play host to the 26th edition of the Merano WineFestival, the most exclusive event dedicated to food and wine in Europe.

Five days bursting with emotions and enthusiasm, ideas and friends, with over 450 wine producers, almost 200 masters of taste and 15 top chefs.

Foss Marai will be present at the Merano WineFestival from 11 to 13 November at the Ohmann Hall, n° 230.

In this prestigious setting it will be possible to meet the people who represent the soul of Foss Marai and get to know the wines produced by the family of Carlo Biasiotto.

Merano WineFestival is more than an event, however: It is a point of reference for excellent food and wine. A forum where producers, opinion leaders, trade professionals and consumers can exchange opinions. It is the first ever event bearing the name WineFestival.

The main location of the WineFestival is the magnificent Kurhaus of Merano – a masterpiece in the liberty style that overlooks the promenade named Passeggiata Lungo Passirio. This event is also scheduled to take place in other parts around the city, such as the Hotel Terme Merano – designed by the famous architect and designer, Matteo Thun – and the theatre, Teatro Puccini – an architectural masterpiece located in Piazza Teatro, the main square of the city.

“It seems only yesterday that I was talking with two friends about transforming the city of Merano

in the ‘good European parlour of elegance’

in which the past, present and future of wine and gastronomy could be brought together to be compared and talked about”

Helmuth Köcher, president and founder of the Merano WineFestival
