RO-Wine | The Wine Festival of Romania, organized by Marinela V. Ardelean, together with Liviu and Mihai Popescu, co-owners of Fratelli Group, is a wine festival that brings together top Romanian and international and will be held on 20 and 21 May 2017, in Bucharest, at Fratelli Studios. This second edition of the festival will feature more than 250 carefully selected wines for tasting, from both domestic and international vintners, many workshops and a succeful TV Cooking Show: “Arena Bucătarilor”, integrated into this edition.
Carlo Biasiotto, the president and founder of Foss Marai, will represent the company at this important event, in order to inspire and to present the fascinating story of Foss Marai wines, known as one of the ambassadors of Italian sparkling wines.
Wishing to develop this segment and to invest in the availability of quality wines, the event organizers have decided to develop the festival and expand its reach to multiple audiences for 2017. Thus, the producers present at RO-Wine | The Wine Festival of Romania will also participate at RO-Wine HoReCa, a special edition dedicated exclusively to HoReCa operators, which will was hold on May 6, in Constanta, and at RO-Wine | Rose & Bubbles, second edition, dedicated to rose and sparkling wines, on August 5, Fratelli Mamaia.
“RO-Wine is a symbol of quality and innovation, starting with carefully selected wines, exquisitely designed displays made by Mihai Popescu, and offering a service for both public and wine producers. The tastes have evolved and the wine selection has become more rigorous. Therefore, RO-Wine | The Wine Festival of Romania has an important role to educate and present to consumers the quality wines that can accompany them in different events and moments in their lives. Excellence, passion and quality are elements that define this event. ” said Liviu Popescu, HoReCa entrepreneur and MasterChef jury member, 2017 edition.
The wine selection for the festival is extremely rigorous with participation being made by exclusive invitation. To maintain the high standard of quality, each producer will present a maximum of 5 labels, selected by an international jury.
